Our terms and conditions of sale

MiRiDER is operated by Charnock Enterprises (‘we’ or ‘us’). These terms will apply to all of your purchases from MiRiDER, whether you are ordering online or by telephone. Please read this document carefully and print it off or download it before placing your order.

Payment

You can pay for your order by the following methods: Visa, MasterCard and PayPal. We will take all reasonable care to keep your order details and payment secure.

Your agreement with us

We will confirm acceptance (or otherwise) of your order as soon as possible. A binding agreement arises once we accept your order and we will then charge your credit/debit card on acceptance of your order.

We use Royal Mail / DPD / Fedex for all our deliveries, but we do not accept responsibility for their delivery times.

Non UK mainland deliveries (International)

The shopping checkout will display various postage options, based on your locality and the weight of the product you are ordering.

Customers outside the UK may be liable for any customs and import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Therefore we suggest that you check the requirements in your country before placing an order. We will not be liable for any custom or import duties.

Delivery times

We aim to have orders, received on a working day* before 3pm, dispatched on the same day. Any orders received after 3pm may be included in the next working day’s post. Please note: we may not always be able to dispatch the same day during busy periods.

*Working days do not include Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays.

Availability

All items are subject to availability. We can only guarantee availability whilst stocks last. If the goods ordered are unavailable, we will contact you with suggestions of goods of equivalent quality. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated, but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes out of our control.

Changing your mind and unwanted items

In compliance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations, you can cancel any order within 14 days of receiving your original order.

Goods should be returned in their original packaging where possible and will be inspected upon return. We ask that you DO NOT use any additional tape to secure the original box/packaging, and kindly wrap the returning parcel(s) in some kind of additional packaging i.e. refuse sack(s)/boxes.

Larger items (like the MiRiDER one) will need to be returned at the consumer’s expense. We can arrange for collection of larger items (from designated drop-off points) using DPD Homecall Returns, if required, but there will be a charge of £5.95. If you wish for us to arrange a collection from your address, there will be a charge of £10.95. In exceptional circumstances, please contact us.

Once returned and inspected, we will refund the cost of the purchase, plus up to a maximum of £2.99 for the original delivery cost associated with your order (regardless of the delivery service used). We will not refund the cost of returning any unwanted items, and if you request a collection this will be deducted from your refund.

We regret that we cannot issue refunds or exchanges after the 14 day period outlined in the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

Damaged Items and shortages

If you receive an item that is damaged or missing any parts on arrival, you will need to contact us either by phone on 01257 228242 or by email on hello@mirider.co.uk within 72 hours of delivery of the product. We will then advise of our full returns procedure, and work to rectify this issue as quickly as possible for you.

Faulty items

If you received a faulty item, or it becomes faulty whilst in its warranty period, we will be happy to repair or replace the item.

The warranty period for all products, with the exception of the MiRiDER bikes, is 12 months from the date of purchase. All MiRiDER bikes come with a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase.

In all cases, you must first follow our simple returns procedure. First, call 01257 228242, as in some instances we may be able to provide information that resolves the problem. If this is not the case, we will organise a collection of the product and email the full details of how to return the product.

Once we receive the product back, a member of the aftersales staff will inspect and test the product. We will notify you of our findings and, if the item is found to be faulty, we will either report or, if not viable, replace the item.

We process returns in the order they are received and we do try to have a repaired or replacement item returned to you as soon as possible, typically within 10 working days. However, during busy periods, this may not be possible and it may take up to 28 working days.

Complaints procedure

If, in the unlikely event that you wish to make a complaint, please contact us in writing and send it to – Customer Services Department, Charnock Enterprises, Disklok House, Preston Road, Charnock Richard, Chorley, PR7 5HH.

We shall then fully investigate the matter and contact you within 7 working days from receipt of letter.

This guarantee is in addition to any warranties or conditions implied by law, and nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

Customer information

We will only use your details in order to send you an order acknowledgment e-mail detailing the products you have ordered, followed by your invoice. If you have any queries, please email hello@mirider.co.uk.

Caring for your purchase

Always refer to the operating, care and maintenance instructions in relation to each product. Any instance whereby you have been deemed to have tampered with the product will void any outstanding warranties.

Product descriptions

We have made every effort to display, as accurately as possible, the colours of our products that appear on this website. However, we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the actual product.

While we try to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights and measurements quoted are approximate. Our website shows the price of goods and services inclusive of VAT (errors and omissions excepted). In the unlikely event that an incorrect price is shown on our website, Charnock Enterprises reserves the right to abstain from fulfilling the order at that price.

The products sold on this website have been designed to comply with the health and safety laws of the UK and we cannot warrant or represent that they comply with any health and safety or other legal requirement outside the UK.

Governing Law

All contracts formed between us for the purchase of items from this website shall be governed by English Law and any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

If any provisions of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable. then that provision shall be deemed servable and shall not affect the enforceability of the remaining provisions.
